General notes on 418 Lodge events:
1. Gnostic Masses are held at the Meral building in Sacramento unless otherwise noted. Please contact the lodge secretary if you need the address or directions.
2. Gnostic Masses are generally open to the public unless otherwise noted. Rarely, we have a private Mass (which will be clearly labeled as such on the calendar).
3. Initiations are of course private events; attendance is limited to dues-current members at or above the degree in question.
4. Business meetings are open to all dues-current members of First Degree and up.
5. Classes may be public or private, as noted. Most classes are held in midtown Sacramento, at 1927 L Street, second floor.
January:
Saturday, 1/21: Class: Historical Roots of O.T.O. Ordo Templi Orientis traces its descent from many European orders of Knighthood, as well as the Hermetic, Rosicrucian, and Masonic brotherhoods. We will discuss these Orders along with their histories and teachings, and detail how they contributed to the eclectic system of O.T.O. Presented by Brother R. 1927 L Street, 2nd floor; 5 to 7 pm. Open to all.
Saturday, 1/21: Gnostic Mass will begin at 9 pm (right after the downtown class). Arrival time is between 8:30 and 9 pm. Team: R & M. Soror Meral building; open to all.
Sunday, 1/29: Minerval Initiations: Officers will arrive at 12 noon; initiates and candidates at 2 pm. Open to initiates of Minerval and up (and candidates, of course!)
February:
Saturday, 2/4: Gnostic Mass will begin at 9 pm. Arrival time is between 8:30 and 9 pm. Team: T & R. Soror Meral building; open to all.
Monday, 2/13: Monthly study group meets at Brother B’s home at 7:30 pm. Open to initiates only.
Saturday, 2/18: No class or Mass due to PantheaCon, the largest Pagan gathering in North America (or possibly the world). Runs 2/17 through 2/20 in San Jose; see pantheacon.com for details. 418 Lodge, along with other Thelemic groups, will be hosting a Hospitality Suite and other lectures and events during that weekend.
March:
Saturday, 3/3: Gnostic Mass will begin at 9 pm. Arrival time is between 8:30 and 9 pm. Team: T & R. Soror Meral building; open to all.
Monday, 3/12: Monthly study group meets at Brother B’s home at 7:30 pm. Open to initiates only.
Saturday, 3/17: Class: Thelema & the Divine Feminine. An examination of Thelema’s role in restoring the Divine Feminine to its proper place in the Western consciousness. Presented by Sister A. 1927 L Street, 2nd floor; 5 to 7 pm. Open to all.

Monday, 4/9: Monthly study group meets at Brother B’s home at 7:30 pm. Open to initiates only.
Saturday, 4/21: Class: An Introduction to O.T.O. Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) is well-known for its public Gnostic Mass, but at its core is a unique and powerful system of initiation; a series of degrees which gradually unveil the central mysteries of the Order. In this class, you will learn about this initiatory system, its structure, its aims, and its transformative power. Taught by 418 Lodge Past Master Brother D.S. 1927 L Street, 2nd floor; 5 to 7 pm. Open to all.
